This is a rare opportunity to spend 4 days with beloved welding instructor James Kitchen. Learn the basics of welding (MIG and arc welding, the plasma cutter, oxy/acetylene torch) combined with James’ expert guidance in designing with found metal objects. Bicycle parts, old tools, metal scrap, and utensils will find new life, and you will go home with a collection of new art for your home and garden or for your the luckiest friends on your gift list. The supply fee covers studio consumables and recycled metals; additional sheet and rod will be available for purchase at market rates in class. All levels welcome.
