Taking Shape in Stained Glass

Explore color, light and form while creating abstract 3D glass sculpture. Learn the Tiffany stained glass method, including basic glass cutting, cold working with grinders and dremel, copper foiling, soldering, and finally the assemblage of your sculpture. Some stained glass history and color theory will also be covered. Students will discover a way of thinking about glass sculpture and form, that considers the stories told throughout history, and allows for finding personal expression through cold glass. All levels welcome.
