Sculptural Slab Structures

Explore the wide range of possibilities in form and scale utilizing slab construction in clay. Delve into generating ideas, making patterns, and making support systems for both simple and complex sculptures. Lynn will demonstrate use of The SlabSlingTM, a device she invented which aids in drying large-scale pieces. Surfaces will also be discussed, with an emphasis on creating rich, layered surfaces with low temperature electric firing. Work will be bisqued.
