RESINating Your Work

Taught by:

Epoxy resins offer great versatility. If left clear, they can be used as a window to see through or a lens to magnify found objects captured forever. They may be tinted using inks, powders, and paints; they can even glow in the dark! In addition to learning numerous techniques and processes for resins, students will also explore cold connections as a way to incorporate resin objects into new or existing work. Resin techniques rely on simple tools and are suited to small spaces, making resin an ideal material for classroom settings or home studios. Students can expect to leave with some finished work as well as a collection of examples.
