Non-traditional Settings for Non-traditional Stones

Taught by:

In the world of jewelry making, there are a plethora of traditional stone settings for a wide variety of regular shapes and cuts. However, more organic stones require different techniques to suit each irregular shape. In this workshop, explore multiple approaches to create non-traditional settings such as the open-back bezel and prong setting. Delve into innovative techniques, and explore your creative voice by completing 2-3 projects. Previous soldering experience required. No supply fee; an instructor kit fee of $135 is payable during the class.
