Mixed Media Mosaics

This workshop is part of the Art Retreat for Educators and includes some special programming of interest to educators. If there is space available in May 2021, we will open spots for non-educators.

Join Emily for an exploration of mosaics as a teaching tool, a technique for building mindfulness, and a wonderful medium for collaboration in the classroom and beyond. Experiment with a variety of traditional and innovative materials and discuss proper substrates and adhesives. Each student will make a 12x12 mosaic and will participate in a variety of collaborative samples to build comfort with a wide range of materials.
