Introduction to Segmented Turning: Open Forms
Taught by:
Explore segmented turning, a process of transforming small scraps of hardwood into stunning forms on a lathe. Design and create aesthetically pleasing bangle bracelets, napkin rings, or sculptural forms, from leftover project scraps or wood pieces in the scrap bin. For those who care about waste reduction and efficient material use, or those who want a path into wood turning, give segmented turning a try. All levels welcome. No supply fee; an instructor kit fee of $35 is payable during the class.
