This workshop is part of Bright Ideas: Illumination & Craft. The program explores light, as metaphor and medium, and includes special activites to enhance the theme.

Explore both modern and historical influences in the art of the illuminated letter. This niche art form is older than the book itself, yet remains vital to this day. Working with a range of tools and materials including quills, vellum, and gold leaf, participants will create an impressive range of brilliantly decorated letters inspired by art through the ages. No supply fee; an instructor kit fee of $70 is payable during the class.
