Choose a knife blade—chef’s, paring, or hunting—and create a customized handle using Faux BoneTM, an innovative material that is easy to form, nearly unbreakable, and completely non-toxic. Faux BoneTM can mimic the look and feel of bone, ivory, ceramic, wood, or antler, and it can be decorated using inlay, metal applique, dyeing, painting, carving, or scrimshaw. The tools are easy to use and the techniques have many applications. In addition to the supply fee, students will purchase a knife blade from instructor during class, cost $18 - $60.
