Flameworking: From Imagination to Creation

Molten glass is moveable, malleable, and endlessly expressive. Just about anything you can imagine in 3D, can be crafted in glass. If you want to make a necklace that looks like the solar system or a one-eyed, three-footed monster, bring your ideas to this workshop and Marta will guide you in the basic flameworking skills of heating, shaping, and adding surface design. Beginner students will learn safety and confidence; more advanced students will be able to refine their techniques and push their skills to a new level. Students are welcome to work in either boro or soft glass. No supply fee; glass will be available for purchase during class based on individual usage.
