Etching for Jewelers

Taught by: 

Learn a variety of methods for successfully etching on copper, brass, and sterling silver. Topics include etching safely, using various resists, transferring images, cleaning, and incorporating your etched pieces into a design. Students will leave with a newly etched cuff bracelet (if desired), etched sheet for future use, and the skills to properly set up and etch on their own. Additional studio time will focus on design or soldering tips for your newly etched items.
