Drawing from Nature with Explorations into Paint & Printmaking

Taught by:

Inspired by the rural and peaceful beauty of Snow Farm's campus, create a series of drawings using homemade inks, sanded sticks, and charcoal on paper. Find a special place in the landscape and return each day to hone your vision and slowly uncover a universe through your recorded observations. Back at the studio, share your results and work collectively (creating a mural) and individually (carving and printing linoleum blocks.) Move from the self to the group and back in an environment of playful discovery, experimentation, exploration, and appreciation. Examples will be provided for inspiration, such as David Hockney's sketchbooks of the landscape in Yorkshire, England.

Only 1 spot available.
