Design (and MAKE!) Your Own Wardrobe

Draft basic patterns for a T-shirt, skirt, and shift dress based on the measurements of your unique body. Then, learn to take those patterns and stylize them into endless variations. For each of the three styles, make a muslin, fit, and correct your pattern. Then sew a finished garment - or several! Before you know it, you'll have a whole new handmade wardrobe. Previous patternmaking experience is not necessary; however, students must be at least competent beginner-level sewers, comfortable using a sewing machine, with a few simple projects completed. Intermediate and advanced sewers are can take on higher level challenges. No supply fee; students bring materials. All levels welcome.
