Deep Dive into Welding

Learn a wide variety of steel working techniques starting with the ancient process of blacksmithing and continuing on to the more modern process of MIG welding and plasma cutting. Students will work on grinding and polishing as well as different finish techniques, including rust prevention methods used by the Vikings. Anyone with an interest in metal sculpture will come alive in this class that offers time, support, and inspiration.The supply fee covers studio consumables and recycled metals; additional sheet and rod will be available for purchase at market rates in class. All levels welcome.
