Culture, Narrative & Clay
Bringing the conversation of culture or personal narrative into one's work can feel elusive or even a little scary. Kevin will share methods that open those conversations and encourage discovery that can bring an unexpected layer of meaning to creative work. One-on-one time will be balanced with group discussions and guided ideation exercises. Activities such as sketching- both with clay and on paper- and monoprinting, will serve to stimulate visual thinking, develop visual vocabulary, and strengthen trust in working personally and intuitively. Intermediate experience required. Depending on time and individual projects, some work may be bisque fired. Post-workshop bisque firing will also be available at additional cost.
