Cold Connection Jewelry: No Flame Needed

Taught by:

Cold connections are an exciting way to join delicate or flammable objects using mechanically sound methods without a drop of glue. Learn to use hand-fabricated rivets, tabs, folds, micro-hardware, stitches, and staples to connect a wide variety of materials like metal, shell, stone, pottery, glass, plastic, fiber, paper and wood. Create a series of 8-12 simple sample objects, plus finished jewelry as time permits. Students can also bring personal objects and materials to incorporate. No supply fee; a $60 kit fee payable directly to the instructor in class includes everything you need for the sample pieces. Additional materials including stone and ceramic shards will be availablle for an additional fee. All levels welcome.
