Building a Jewelry Wardrobe

Taught by:

After a week of metalsmithing and jewelry making, students will take home a new handmade jewelry wardrobe! Working with copper and brass, explore multiple techniques for wire and sheet metal: hammering, piercing, sawing, soldering, and more. Delve into design and create necklaces, bracelets, and rings; add a bezel set beach pebble or other stone, and finish with some earrings to complete your new look. No experience necessary for this full and fulfilling introduction to metalsmithing. Experienced students will stretch and grow new skills.
