Bowls & Beyond

Woodturning is all about hand-eye coordination, a sharp tool, and proper technique. Beginners will learn to turn simple bowls with classic shapes. As skill improves, Ken will teach how to make more unusual shapes and how to decorate the wooden surface with color, texture, and/or burning. With lots of one-on-one instruction, intermediate students can work with more advanced techniques. If you have a piece of wood to "turn" into something special, bring it along! All levels welcome.
