Beginner’s Mind at the Pottery Wheel

Cultivate a beginner's mind while learning to use the potter's wheel. Start with centering the clay and bringing full attention to the connection between body and mind, learning how to be strong and gentle at the same time. Through clear demonstrations and patient instruction, learn to throw and trim bowls and cups. Absolute beginners are welcome, and those with rusty skills will also learn something new! Depending on time, some work may be bisque fired. Post-workshop glaze firing will also be available at additional cost.

NOTE: By instructor request, all students in this workshop, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear masks while in the studio. Snow Farm has medical masks available or students may bring cloth masks; no bandanas or scarves, please.

Only 2 spots available.
All Meals: $166.00
