Sarah Michalik is an artist based in Boston, MA. Sarah received her BFA in Glass from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a MFA in Glass from Tyler School of Art. She has been a glass instructor for over a decade. Locally, Sarah has been an Artist in Residence at Salem State University, and at the Worcester Center for Crafts, as well as a Jerry Raphael Metropolitan Contemporary Glass Group Fellow at UrbanGlass in New York. She was also an Artist in Residence at The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology. Sarahʼs work can be found in private and public installations in the US and abroad. Currently, Sarah is a teacher at Diablo Glass School and creates work for her company, Charged Glassworks, which specializes in handmade glass art, home decor, and jewelry. She also works with glass to create sculptural pieces that address and make visible the connections we share as humans.
