Glass artist Sam Myers lives in Western Massachusetts and is originally from England. Since 2007, she has been creating using a variety of cold glass techniques, primarily stained glass and mosaics. Her inspiration comes from her love of drawing and painting, especially how colors interact and complement each other. Glass has a magical luminence that is unique and appeals to her. Painting-on-glass opened a new dimension to her work that utilizes all her skills. Sam has also learned the medieval techniques for painting and has restored several pieces on exhibit in Cambridge and Natick. Sam is part of the teaching staff at Snow Farm.
