Janet Dalecki found her passion for glassmaking in 1999 while pursuing a degree in Fine Arts at Alfred University. Since graduating in 2002, she has worked continuously in glass for various northeast studios using glassblowing, fusing, stained glass and mosaic techniques. In 2004 Janet moved to Corning, NY where she worked for several privately owned glassblowing studios and independent artists. In 2008 she began working and teaching at The Corning Museum of Glass and developed her own line of work. She still produces her work at Corning's Studio, sells her work in the museum's gift shop, and continues to teach classes in fusing and glassblowing.
