Harriet Finck

Harriet Finck is a full-time artist, an adjunct professor of art, and an art center instructor. Her paintings (mostly acrylic on paper) are abstract; her themes are the oneness of natural phenomena& similar patterns at the cellular and astronomical levels and of fragmentation leading to wholeness. She often works with mixed media such as foil scrolls and found object assemblages, and periodically turns to ancient Hebrew text as a motif, sometimes incorporating the words themselves. Harriet has had residencies at the Rubin Frankel Art Gallery at the Boston University Hillel, at William Paterson University, with Art Kibbutz, and at Camp Ramah. She has had a one woman and duo shows at galleries in New York and New Jersey and participates in group exhibits annually.
