Sculptor Gene Montez Flores has worked fabricating metalssteel, stainless steel, and bronze, for almost fifty years. The early studios were on the West Coast, including a pivotal four years in the Tehachapi Mountains overlooking the Mojave Desert. Since 1979 he and his family have lived on the East Coast, first in New York City, and now in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. Susan Marya Flores is an artist and furniture maker and joins her husband on large projects. This portfolio includes sculptures from private and public collections created over the past thirty years, in addition to some of the utilitarian objects used by the Flores family and friends.
