Ellen Eagle, PSA, MP, teaches the only class devoted exclusively to pastel at The Art Students League of New York. Her work has been exhibited in venues such as The National Academy Museum, Frye Art Museum, Long Beach Museum of Art, and Butler Institute of American Art. In 2011, she exhibited twenty pastel paintings at the Lingnan Museum of Fine Arts, China. The curator's intent in showing Ellen's work was to largely introduce pastel to the Chinese art community. In 2016, Ellen returned to China to exhibit and teach. Her work is in many private and corporate collections, as well as The Museum of Pastel in Suzhou, China, and the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, D.C. Her book, Pastel Painting Atelier was published in 2013 by Random House to glowing reviews.
