Revised Bio: I have a BS in "Re-Creation, Art, and Society,” from SIU in Carbondale IL.Post-graduate travels to Europe continued my passion for art history, and I studied ceramics at the Jacob Cramer Centre for the Arts in Leeds, Yorkshire, UK. In 1982 I moved to western Massachusetts with my husband, Jim Crowell, and have been a potter and tile maker since that time. I have benefited from being assistant to the Editor of The Studio Potter, as a Research Consultant with The Marks Project, and in serving the less fortunate members of our community. My work is in the collection of The American Museum of Ceramic Art, and has received numerous awards. Current representation: Pinch, Northampton MA.
