Donna Greenberg is a classically trained artist, creating fine art, craft and design ware since receiving a BFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, in 1974. Her background is multidisciplinary, with professional explorations in ceramics, sculpture, painting, jewelry, decorative finishes and murals. Donna's personal interest is in interpreting the organisms of the natural world in an abstracted fantasy mode with polymer clay, paints, paper and various mixed media. Most recently she completed a large series of wall hung Bio-Systems and biomorphic vessels. Donna is an international instructor and writer on the art and design of polymer clay for various arts publications and is featured in the books Polymer Clay-Global Perspectives 2013, and Polymer Journeys 2016 and 2019. Her recent artwork won first prize in the 2018 International Polymer Clay Association design competition. Donna’s work is represented in galleries in the US and Europe.
