David Paul Bacharach

David P. Bacharach is a metalsmith and basket maker who has distilled both traditions into a distinct approach to his medium, creating a diverse body work inspired by ancient cultures and the natural world. David has exhibited his work nationally and internationally, and he is the recipient of numerous honors including the Nancy Haragan Award presented by the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance, the Mary Sawyer Baker Artist Award presented by the Maryland State Arts Council, and three Maryland State Arts Council Grants. His work is represented in numerous museum and private collections including the Museum of Art and Design, The White House, three American Embassies, The Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles, and the Arrowmont School of Art and Craft.
