Cheryl Cohen’s jewelry making design process includes utilizing high impact dichroic glass, stained glass, and beads, as well as vintage pieces and found objects. She uses a variety of bases, including sterling silver handmade bezels in which to create her designs. Initially educated and employed as an occupational therapist – but with a lifelong passion for art – in 2010 she opened Cheryl Cohen Mosaics Art Center, the fulfillment of a lifelong dream to teach art classes in her own studio. Over the years, her studio has grown to 2000 students per year, with tens of thousands of pieces of tesserae in inventory. Cheryl shows her work in galleries around New England and in her studio by appointment.
