Since receiving her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Alyssa Dee Krauss has been working to create jewelry as a fine art form. Shes been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New Jersey Council on the Arts, and Arts Internationals Residency at Giverny. Alyssas work is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of Arts and Design in NY, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Montreal Museum of Art. Her work exhibits internationally, and has been featured in art, fashion and industry publications, major newspapers, and television. Alyssa, a passionate teacher of the art and poetry of jewelry making, happily travels to lecture and lead workshops. She lives, teaches, ponders, and tinkers in western Massachusetts.
