Before You Apply

You can start the application at any time, and save your progress along the way.  You will need the following items in order to complete the process.

  • All applicants are required to write a short essay. Write your essay before you apply and save it as a PDF. The prompt is: In 200-300 words, tell us about why you are interested in attending Snow Farm Summer, what you envision for your 10 hours per day of studio time, and how you hope to grow as an artist.
  • All applicants are required to pay a $100 non-refundable application fee. Have your credit card information ready.
  • First time applicants are required to submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher. Talk to the teacher and ask them to fill out this form.  You will need to include the teacher's name and contact information on your application. Your application will not be complete until we recieve the recommendation.
  • Scholarship applicants are required to submit a copy of your most recent tax return. If there are circumstances not visible in the return, an optional financial statement can also be written on the application.
