Reserving a shopping time in advance is the best way to help the Seconds Sale run smoothly, with shorter lines and uncrowded galleries. Thank you for your cooperation.

Reservations for the Seconds Sale will open several weeks before the start date. Please check back in October!

Your entry ticket is good for the time you reserve and any LATER time. Come once, twice or all three weekends!

Walk-ins can also be accomodated. Please bring cash for entry.

250+ artists represented in 5 galleries. New work every weekend!

The Snow Farm dining hall and four studios will be transformed into spacious galleries featuring work from over 250 artists. There are so many treasures - in glass, ceramics, clothing, jewelry, baskets, wood, cards, prints, ornaments, and more. There is so much artwork, we show new pieces every weekend! Take a peek at a little of  what was on the shelves last year.

What are seconds? Seconds can be excess inventory, experimental pieces, discontinued lines, or slightly flawed items. To the artist they might be seconds, but most pieces look perfect, and prices are perfect, too! There are also plenty of firsts throughout the galleries that are great bargains. The Jane Sinauer Gallery, named after the founder of Snow Farm (called Horizons originally) features a curated collection of higher-end, one-of-a-kind pieces.

All purchases support the craft education program and scholarships at Snow Farm AND the artists whose work you buy. Snow Farm is a nonprofit organization and the Seconds Sale is the most important fundraiser of the year.  We rely on volunteers for set-up, take-down and on sale days.  Scroll down to see how you can help out.

NOTE:  Snow Farm is located on historic farmland. The pathways between galleries are unpaved and can be slightly hilly.

Thank you to Whalen Insurance in Northampton, MA for being a generous sponsor of the Seconds Sale.

Many volunteers help throughout the sale.  If you are able and interested, we'd love to hear from you! There are positions in both inside and outside spaces. If you are comfortable working outdoors, we need help monitoring people entering and exiting the property and the studios. Volunteers earn credit that can be applied to workshop registrations and get 10% of any Seconds Sale purchases on the day they work. Interested?  Email Laura ( or call 413-268-3101.
