The application and award process is intended to be highly accessible and reduce bias.
- Scholarships awards will be made through a lottery. Applicants will be asked to identify a first and second choice studio of interest and awards will be distributed among studios.
- Financial need, level of education, and professional accomplishment are not criteria for entry to the lottery.
- The application requires a statement of interest that can be submitted in writing or by video.
- A $25 application partially supports Snow Farm's administrative costs.
