Patterns Under Glass: Encasing Techniques for Vibrant Beads
Working in Bullseye glass, Stephanie will share her techniques for creating colorful beads of extraordinary depth and clarity. The secret: full-gather and spot encasing with control and precision. Start with zig-zags, stripes, deep rows of bubbles, and scalloped patterns and move on to traditional Italian floral techniques, Japanese "firework" murrini, and the honey-comb effect. Basic flameworking skills required. No supply fee for this class. Bring your own glass rods or purchase from us what you use during the workshop.
