Jobs & Internships
Our season is underway and we have ongoing openings in the kitchen. We provide cafeteria style, from-scratch meals for students attending Snow Farm's residential art and craft programs. Students stay on campus weekdays and weekends, and we provide three healthy meals a day, including special dietary needs such as gluten-free, vegetarian, etc. The following positions are available:
LEAD COOK has previous cooking or catering experience, is flexible, energetic, organized and maintains a meticulously clean kitchen. They are comfortable leading the kitchen assistants through the shift. The lead cook prepares meals (menus/recipes provided by the Kitchen Manager), keeps the kitchen clean and organized, checks in and organizes incoming orders, etc. ServeSafe certified is a plus. Shifts are 6am - 2pm or 2pm to close (between 9-10 pm)
KITCHEN ASSISTANT is happy to learn, jump in wherever needed, and pleasant to work with. Experience in a kitchen is helpful but not required. The kitchen assistant prepares the salad bar, assists in packaging meals, assists the Lead Cook as requested, washes dishes, and helps clean the kitchen. Shifts are 7am-3pm, 9am-3pm, or 3pm-close (between 9-10pm)
BAKER (part-time) is flexible, creative, energetic, organized, and enjoys creating delicious baked goods from scratch. Items required will include cookies, muffins, breads, cakes, pies and specialty desserts as needed. Experience with gluten free and vegan baking a plus. SerfSafe certified preferred. Flexible shifts, will work with the right candidate (16-20 hours per week).
DISHWASHER is flexible, energetic, organized, and maintains a meticulously clean sink area. Experience in a kitchen is helpful but not required. Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts are available.
Pay rate starts at $15/hour. Benefits include free meals and a friendly, positive work environment. Housing can be negotiated. Compensation also includes free art classes and paid sick time once vested. Kitchen jobs will require passing a background check.

The Work-Study Program at Snow Farm is an opportunity for students, artists and craftspeople (ages 18+) to work at Snow Farm in various capacities in exchange for tuition-free workshops, housing, and meals when the dining hall is open. The Program runs from May – November in three, 7-week sessions. The application period is now open with a $25 application fee.
