HOW
TO APPLY
Please
follow steps 1 - 4 to complete your application.
We need all of this information to process your application.
1. Complete
the Application Form indicating your alternative
choices for studios.
2. Send a Personal Statement that tells something about
yourself--for example, you might want to write about
your interests both in art and in general; what you
consider important in both people and experiences; how
you or your friends would describe you.
3. Send Two
Reference Letters -- one from a teacher, the other
from a second teacher, a friend of the family (not a
relative), or an extracurricular instructor--again,
telling a bit about who you are and how you might make
a contribution to Snow Farm.
4. Enclose
a Deposit of $500, $420 of which is applied
toward tuition, the $80 balance being a non-refundable
registration fee.
Applications
ar considered on a first come, first srved basis with
no application deadline.

Additional
fees (per session)
are glassblowing, $140; flameworking $135; welding, $135;
photography, $80; and metals/jewelry, $100. A refundable
physical plant deposit fee is $50. High school credit
is also available and must be coordinated with the student's
art and/or guidance office.

Hartford, CT, before or after sessions
(for students flying only): $40
SCHOLARSHIPS
AND SCHOOL CREDITS
Scholarships
are available through the Snow Farm program and applied
for by contacting the Executive Director, Mary Colwell,
at the Snow Farm office. High school credit is also
available; this must be coordinated with your school's
art and/or guidance office.
