Damian Cote

 Damian Cote studied at UMass Amherst, and Rhode Island School of Design. During the Gulf War Era, Cote served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman. During part of this time he worked as a guard at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This experience is evident in a lot of his work. In the years afterward, Cote built a studio and print shop adjacent to his home where he works.
