Bert Lamothe

Roberta “Bert” Lamothe has been working with stained glass since 1981, school trained in lead came construction and self taught in copper foil construction. After completing a 20 year career in the Army National Guard, Bert turned her stained glass hobby into a full time business. She spent over 7 years subcontracting her services to a retail studio in Rhode Island. She has attended numerous classes with renowned stained glass painters, such as Richard Millard and Peter McGrain.She has also assisted students at Rhode Island School of Design with painting on glass instruction. She and her husband, Norman, now reside in Florida where she continues her stained glass business.
