Guest Artist Program

Halfway through each session, on Friday evening, we host seven established artists of varied mediums who join us for dinner and then present their work to students, showing images and samples. Then, on Saturday, students each work with one of the artists in a specialized hands-on workshop. Some recent examples include: painting on silk, enameling, pinhole cameras, wood turning, scratchboard, sandblasting and plaster sculpture. These one-day workshops are a unique opportunity for students to interact with master craft artists.

“The presentations and workshops were insightful and inspiring. I could definitely see myself working as an artist like that one day.”
