Leslie’s background includes a BFA in painting and drawing and an MFA in fiberart.  She has worked as a full time artist since 1989 creating both works of art and wearable art. She has passion in both areas of art.

Her work has been published in Fiberarts Magazine and Fiberarts Design book three.  She received a NH State Arts Council Fellowship.

For the past several years she has also worked for Bernina of America first as freelance, then as a full time educator.  Most recently, while still doing freelance work for Bernina, she has also been working for YLI Corporation, one of the country’s top specialty thread manufacturer’s, teaching creative uses for the many beautiful embellishing yarns and threads manufactured by this company.
