Learn the traditional seven step weave that will bring a stool or chair back to life. Using natural cane, you will successfully weave a stool seat that is strong and durable. Each student will receive a complete kit that includes the stool frame, cane, caning pegs, awl and binder. We’ll talk about the history of caning, where cane grows and how it is processed for use.  No prior experience is necessary. This class is part of the Intergenerational Weekend and is open to ages 13 and above.
