Painted Canvas Floor Cloths

Floor cloths were an integral part of early New England homes, and have enjoyed a revival in contemporary home decoration. A canvas floor cloth is, in essence, a "floor decoration"®, totally functional, but with compelling colors, a variety of designs, and original patterning that gives a unique and personal look to a room. A nurturing workshop for beginners with lots of challenges, as well, for those more advanced in surface design techniques. Over the course of the weekend students will each complete one floor cloth.

Linda Jacque

Bio: Linda Jacque received her BA from Pratt Institute. She has worked as an Assistant Art Director for Steigers, G Fox and other similar companies. Linda has also designed advertising packages, game boards and window displays. She currently is illustrating on household items such as watering cans, furniture, table tops and musical instruments.
