THIS CLASS IS FILLED.  Figure sculpting classes include lectures on anatomy and gesture. Three days of intensive work are spent modeling several maquettes and one main piece in water-based clay with step-by-step instruction. The anatomy of the human form is studied from the bone through muscle, fat and skin texture. Morning instruction time is used for doing rapid exercises on blocking in gesture. Students will work from a live nude model. Class is taught exclusively by Philippe Faraut.
