This class is great for those with or without glass experience and has wide applications for both sculptural and functional forms. We"­ll cover fusing and slumping, as well as surface decoration. You"­ll complete several pieces with projects ranging from fused two and three dimensional panels to slumped bowls, plates and even jewelry! This is a workshop that enables participants to develop an intimate understanding of the boundless potential of glass

Bio:

Paula Kochanek is a glass artist who has been making and selling her work since 1986. She began designing and executing large stained glass panels and lamps for a stained glass store in Framingham, MA. Since then she has studied sandblasting and fusing. Using her new skills, Paula now adds 3 dimensional accents to her stained glass pieces and continues to manipulate other functional pieces. Her love of gardening and the beauty of the sea inspire Paula's original designs.
