You have images, know your way around Photoshop, and are tired of printing on white paper. Come create customized printing surfaces, go beyond a simple substrate and find endless opportunities to expand your artistic expression. Prepare surfaces using smooth fine art papers, fabric, or other thin surfaces with InkAid pre-coatings; combine this with traditional art materials like pastels, pencils, paints, inks before or after printing. Experiment with transferring digital images to fine art papers or wood, try printing on sheet metal, and applying a gloss coating to matte prints. These flexible processes allow you to expand your idea of what a digital print can be, with endless variations. We will be working with Golden, InkAid, and Dass materials.
