This class will begin with an overview of Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and its related products. You will be introduced to the possibilities of integrating this exciting new material with those you already use and enjoy. Use PMC slip over bisques clay beads, cover a natural object or take a pottery shard and make it into a wearable pendant. We will then focus on hollow forms as well as mold making from a variety of materials so that you can make “matching” pieces. With this information, you will make either a pendant, linked bracelet or charm bracelet. We will discuss how this exciting new material can play a role in working with glass and mixed media. This class is great for people working in metal, clay, glass and mixed media, as well as those just curious about PMC. This class is part of the Intergenerational Weekend and is open to ages 13 and above.
