Harvest Home: Still Life With Landscape In Pastel

Many artists have incorporated landscape with still life painting. In this workshop, we will be using, along with other still life objects, an array of local fall vegetables and fruits, superimposing them in front of a landscape of your choice. Working from photographs of landscapes (or using the view from the studio windows) we will be creating “spacious” still lifes that transcend the four walls of our studio. As well as various pastel techniques, issues of drawing, color, and composition will be addressed.
