Tired of wearing clothing that makes you feel guilty about the hands that slaved over it?  Have a figure that doesn’t quite work with modern patterning?  Want to learn how to create beautiful, simple, and unique eye-catching garments for yourself? We will begin with a simple store-bought pattern and your home sewing machine. Then, we’ll combine some modern techniques with old (all incredibly simple) like a muslin pattern, bias-cutting, French seaming, and piece dyeing to create the most exquisitely well-fitting garment you own in a color suited perfectly to you. When your friends compliment you about this new addition to your wardrobe, you can proudly say that you made it yourself.
