THIS CLASS IS FULL!  If you would like to be put on the waiting list, please call:  413-268-3101  This class will blend the art of furnace and flameworked glass, led by George Kennard, an instructor and furnace glassblower for the Corning Museum of Glass and Sally Prasch, a well- known instructor of flameworked glass. We will be forming glass over the torch that will later be incorporated with furnace glass. Students will learn how to pull and use cane and murine. Gathering molten glass out of the furnace and drawing with cane and/or placing flameworked shapes onto your glass pieces will be explored. This unique class is open to all levels, but some knowledge of working with glass is helpful.
