Watch sparks fly as we hape, hammer, and enamel a gorgeous vessel or bowl in three days! Beginners as well as experienced metalsmiths and enamellists will explore the many options available to fabricate a simple vessel form that speaks from the heart and hand. We will use rivets, tabs, fold forming, and copper wire as connection mechanisms – no soldering required! Surface texture will be emphasized as well using the roll mill, flex shaft, dapping/design punches, and layering with fine gauge copper sheet. Then, into the kiln to bring your bowl to life with color! Instructor will demonstrate various application techniques using dry and liquid enamels and additive materials. Come with your sleeves rolled up and some great ideas!
